York Open Studios is an annual community arts event which represents the best of artists and makers living or working within a ten-mile radius of the city, each year York Open Studios provides an opportunity for the public to visit artists’ studios and workshops.
I've been fortunate to have been selected to take part in York Open Studios for the last 2 years. It really is a fantastic event to be involved in, meeting up with old friends and opening up my studio space to the public. To share my work and the practice that I follow. It's very inspiring.

Here are some examples of my work showcasing the development process, incorporating both ink & colour. I find the abstract details in the test strips particularly captivating. These spontaneous occurrences cannot be planned, and they deeply resonate with both me and my work.
